Rien is a bit rash and acts rather than thinks when it comes to just about everything. He moves forth with the idea that luck is on his side (whether by magical means or positive thinking) and thinking would only complicate a situation and take too much time out of completing it. He's not lazy but he loves his 'coffee' breaks and takes them whenever he can. What he drinks during these breaks isn't coffee, but something more sinister... and it gives him enough energy to energize twenty people. He hates having to listen to people tell stories and likes to read the end of a book before starting it. He's impatient and becomes moody and child-like when it comes to having to wait or get through some sort of lengthy process. Rien is a good guy and doesn't like to do things that might hurt someone or something else, but he believes in karma and that for every bad thing he does he has to do a good one. Balance is key and he takes it seriously.

Blood magics can be used in a lot of different ways. Rien uses his abilities to make objects, enhancements, and spells to catch, fight, and immobilize animals for his trade of work. He loves to rough and tumble and a good trap makes his day. He has a library of blood samples from thousands of animals (earth bound, faerie, demon, or other) which when paired with a spell makes it easier to track and catch. Also, Rien is particularly skilled in fleshcrafting for disguise as well as shapeshifitng into animals which is used to confuse would-becaptures.

He's six foot two and very fit with uncontrollable light brown hair and dark metallic green eyes. He's almost always scruff looking with stubble on his face that's prickly to touch, but he never actually goes all the way and sports a beard. He has various tattoos, some magical and some not, mostly on his upper arms. He wears clothes that give him a sort of rebellious steampunk sort of style; thick leather pants with buttons, buckles. Dark shirts with lots of accessorising with sheaths going across his chest diagonally and a brass bracelet on his left wrist that gives that arm a very powerful punch. As well as variation of metal rings on his fingers that can do numerous sorts of spellcastings.

Bork is a sixty five pound rat-looking creature. He has thick dark brown hair that's longer in some areas and has random bald spots that prove signs of fighting and possible disease. Bork is obviously a very bulky thing but with muscles and a fat tail that has a pointy end that can be used much like the tip of a weapon. His whiskers are prickly and usually crinkled and bent. He and Rien get along fine but he has a mind of his own and doesn't always like to follow. Bork's bite is more vicious than you can imagine with sharp, thick, rodent teeth paired with his horrible ratty breath. He might look foul, but he's an aggressive and useful familiar and friend for Rien.
