Despite the pain and disappointment in her past Rain remains a good natured, happy woman. She dearly loves to laugh and seems to have an endless source of energy when it comes to taking care of children. She's a strong woman, able to win the respect of even the most rebellious of the teens in her care due to her way of never backing down from a fight. And there's plenty of fighting going on in an orphanage. She doesn't take any flack from anyone and runs the orphanage with a loving but firm hand.

Rain's talents are fairly ordinary as far as the Earth branch of magic goes. She's good with potions and spells in her kitchen, but nothing special. Her garden is easily the largest in West Salem, but that makes sense as so many young Witches need to access to it. Her one claim to fame is her "Healing Touch", but it only extends as far as gardening goes. She can make plants grow a bit faster, a bit fuller, and with better yield.

Rain refers to herself as "Rubenesque". She's not thin by any means, but she's honestly quite happy with herself. She healthy and can run after kids when she needs to without getting too winded, so what's the point in killing herself to be what the world perceives as beautiful? Her hair is dark and naturally curly, though she has it braided quite often. It's just easier to manage that way. Her eyes are a warm brown sugar color and her skin is cafe au lait. She's remarkably well endowed and that's generally the first thing people notice about her.

Mana is your typical ring-tailed lemur. His fur is black and white, his front and back paws are furless and resemble black leather - but much softer, and his eyes are golden and piercing. He is obviously an incredibly intelligent little creature, and he absolutely loves to be helpful. It's not odd to walk into the kitchen to find Rain washing dishes and Mana drying them. He's forever bringing home stray animals, especially if they're injured and he's very fastidious about keeping himself clean. He gets very grumpy if he doesn't get to bathe every day.
