Description

Heaven appears to be a nice naive girl who's in way over her head. She's always been a people pleaser, and a little bit of a pushover. She's never been the brightest person in the world, and is quite pretty, therefore can often get by on her looks. Growing up in the public eye she's used to dealing with people knowing who she is, which can be enthralling, and at the same time rather irritating. She has developed a temper over this, and sometimes will deliberately act out and make an ass out of herself just because she knows the paparazzi love to see her in a bad state.

However, Heaven is possessed by a greedy demon who feeds off people's sins. Particularly greed, sloth and lust. The demon uses Heaven's innocence and naivety to fulfill its desires, getting her to use her looks and her body, sweet talk and charm. Since practicing blood magics and developing her talents there, Heaven has become a perfect willing host for the demon, who takes charge when her career is concerned, business decisions, and also when they are working magics. The demon is more powerful and knows more tricks of the trade than Heaven feels she ever will.

There are times when the demon is gone, (resting or sleeping or whatever) and Heaven is just Heaven, a girl who doesn't really know what she's doing anymore, where she falls back into bad habits - relationships that are no good for her, over use of drugs and alcohol. Her parental revenge fantasies are hard and not as fun as she had thought whilst cleaning herself up, and its easier to give into the beckoning darkness of of various addictions than dealing with her life. The demon makes her pull herself together and put plans into action.

Magical Talent

Heaven's magical talents were originally established as an Earth witch, taking after her mother. She was good at herbs and plants, and making potions for beauty products. During a sleepover at a friend's house Heaven found a book on Blood magicks and began to experiment with them, leaving herself open to be possessed. Also making her blood magics strong - charms and fire offensive spells in particular, along with some seductive vocal magic - weaving spells into words to seduce and mesmerize.

Appearance

Heaven is a gorgeous girl. She's got the face of an angel, hence where her name comes from, petite features, porcelain pure skin and a mass of golden blonde hair worn in tight cork screw curls. Her figure is slender with long legs. Her lips are full and luscious, a natural dusky rose.

Familiar

Tom, a medium sized crow, named after the actor, Tom Cruise. A medium size bird with black feathers, sharp black beak and beady black eyes. Occasionally in certain light there's a pattern of colour which shows up on Tom's wings, a mixture of oily shades, like in spilled oil. Tom is quite an intimidating creature, perching himself on Heaven's shoulder, observant and watching. Protective, he has a tendency to bite, and will bite human flesh. Heaven found Tom on the set of a low budget horror movie she was, the crow had become stuck in the set and the staff thought he'd make a great "extra'. Heaven was the only one who cold coax him out of hiding and he became her familiar.

Information

History

Heaven grew up in Salem with two parents, her mother, a starlet, and her much older director husband. Her mother was a glamorous blonde, who had a Bette Davis style classic beauty. She had started off with small time modeling and got into acting when she attended an audition with a friend, the casting people fawned over Vanessa's beauty. She got the starring role in the movie (her friend got nothing). She became a Scream Queen, notorious for ghost movies and gory horror flicks. When Vanessa was 17 she starred in a short lived 8 episode TV show during which she dated the director who wound up getting her pregnant. Since Kingsley Bollinger was a well known and famous director, she married him. The publicity of her pregnancy and birth of her daughter directed attention away from the flop of the show.

They were a witch family, but her mother was more interested in fame than magic. She wanted her gorgeous daughter to follow in her footsteps. Heaven was entered into baby beauty pageants, shows, anything her mother could do to get her face out there. Her baby photos were sold to Witch Weekly. There were usually always paparazzi around the family. Vanessa graduated from Scream Queen Teen to trying more serious movies, while at the same time shamelessly promoting her daughter every chance she got.

Wanting to please her mother, and not really knowing any better, Heaven went along with it. She got jobs as a child model, and also commercial work, studying Earth magics in the little free time she had. Her life was pretty much controlled for her. She did a few movies of her own, including being a voice in a Disney animation. By the time she was a teenager, Heaven's magical abilities were minimal, she knew herbs and plants, and could pull off a few potions and spells, but mainly geared towards beauty treatments. During a sleep over (her mother pushing her to be friends with another actress her age) Heaven found a book on Blood magic while poking around. And she stole it. Being the only bit of rebellious freedom she had ever had. She became tired of having a life in the public eye and deliberately used the blood magics for escape, becoming addicted easily, and falling into a bad style of magic she didn't really know what she was doing with, along with other fallen star cliches like drugs and alcohol. All because Heaven knew how much it vexed her arrogant spoiled mother to see her behaving this way. And there was nothing Vanessa could do about it.

Heaven was forced into rehab, where she pulled herself together on the drugs and booze. And even for a while, the blood magics. She kept them secret, had learned enough to control herself. She cleared out of rehab, appearing to be clean, sober.

But Heaven was bitter, angry, and wanted to destroy her still famous mother who had a book and a new movie coming out all about her struggles with her rebellious, ungrateful daughter. Blood magic had opened up the perfect door to revenge. Heaven would sic a demon on her parents. Only the demon she thought she summoned charmed her with a better idea - become MORE famous than her mother was just the start. There were some good ways to destroy a famous name than outright attacks. So Heaven agreed and the demon possessed her. inadvertently read the name of a demon, which possessed her.

It made her magic more powerful, and made her learn how to use her beauty, and her own talents to see what she could become. She discovered a sensual deep rich velvet singing voice. Lounge singing in a slinky outfit, music that swirled in your mind and melted hearts. Music was a barrier that Vanessa had never managed to crash (for the simple reason she could not sing and no matter how hard she tried no one would sign her or give her a chance of any sort). Heaven's debut album Black Magic Woman, a tribute title and including a cover of the classic Satana song, sold through the roof. Heaven resides in her own palatial home in Salem, still possessed, plotting her next moves in revenge and career.
