Description

Chloe is the blunt girl next door that dominates the life of everyone near her without realizing it. Unintentional is the theme of her life. She's gentle and kind with underlining anger management issues that at times come out and don't go away. She wears her heart on her sleeve willingly. Her happy today will be completely different from her happy tomorrow. Easily driven to depression, she relies on spells and charms to keep her chemical unbalances at even so that she can get through life without removing herself from those she cares about. Everyone knows that Chloe has a bit of a bad boy complex. She's always found herself in the wrong sort of relationships for both lovers and friends. She doesn't blink in the face of danger rather than step forward to it. She needs the exhilaration of life to get through the day. She's neutral and doesn't bind herself to the "light" or the "dark" side. She sees everything with having potential and doesn't like for there to be definite.

Magical Talent

Chloe is a spellcrafter. Almost all the people in her family have been fanatics at working their own spells, and she has a vast selection of hand-me-down family recipes full of all sorts of family secrets and quick bypasses to make complicated spells a lot more easy. She has a natural talent for inconspicuous charm making and amazing proficiency when it comes to defense magics (she specialties in sleepy-time potions and confusion spells). Although she may not have a green thumb she makes up for it in a knowledgeable mind and quick thinking.

Appearance

Chloe is 5'5" with a well endowed chest and curves that give her thin appearance an oomph that most girls cannot achieve without practically having to be overweight. Her hair is naturally wavy and the color of flowing obsidian, although she takes it upon herself to cosmetically magic her hair to various shades as the seasons change. Her eyes are naturally a shadowy bronze color, but she often changes them to cerulean blue and dark sapphire.

Familiar

Sabbath is black. The sort of black that's so dark that you can hardly see him at night save for his glowing chartreuse eyes. In the sun he has very noticeable black print that resembles that of a leopard or close lineage to something very wild. Sabbath is very protective over Chloe and doesn't like other males in her life.

History

Chloe was born and raised in Salem Massachusetts along side her older brother, Ryder. The two were only a few years apart and practically inseparable, getting into mischief together and wrecking mayhem for their parents. It was a surprise to everyone in the family when it turned out that Ryder was an Arcane Witch - they hadn't had one in the family for a couple of generations. He was following a darker path while Chloe was dabbling into the world of boys. Having a streak of wild remaining from her childhood, she was constantly getting into the sorts of relationships that ended up hurting. Sometimes more than emotionally.

When she was 21 years old her brother came home with the news that he had joined up with D.A.D. This was major and something she wasn't prepared to handle. Part jealousy and part worried about the state of her brother, Chloe stood by her parents urging that this would get him killed. They went for a whole year without talking.

Chloe's next two acts in life took her on different courses for her future. She took a six month course to become a certified Misuse of Magic Insurance Agent, landing herself a secure job, while beginning to date the man who would shift a bigger part of life. He was fun, entertaining, but completely a schmuck. He got himself into so much trouble and dragged her in that there had been attempts on her life. To get out of certain situations she had to mix complex spells to give herself - and him - boosts of energy. When she realized that he was a Blood Witch Junkie she got herself out of the relationship. But it was too late. She, too, had dabbled in the Blood Magics and was craving more.

She's been clean for a couple of weeks now, but the power still calls to her. It was so easy and harmless as well as saved her life. But people like /him/ proved that it wasn't something to take so lightly.
