Aiden has a dry sense of humor that makes it difficult to tell when he's joking or not. He doesn't signal when he has made a joke so people aren't sure whether to be offended or to laugh along with him. He delivers everything with a straight face and gives no inclination of whether he is only kidding or if he actually is being mean. Aiden of course, thinks he's hilarious, though he doesn't show it. He's a pretty relaxed guy who prefers his independence and keeps all of his family at arm's length, the way it should be for a DAD agent. Being the only one in his family who has ever worked for DAD, and considering how close they were before, Aiden suddenly not being a part of their lives bothers them a great deal. Aiden has little patience for people who lack intelligence and if you get on his bad side, he'll hold a grudge against you for what feels like eternity. He's fond the of the silent treatment and uses it mercilessly with others, and if he does speak to the person, it's usually has a double meaning. And the meaning is very much meant to insult and injure.

To put things simply, Aiden is an alchemist, but he's made special modifications to his body so that he doesn't have to draw a circle every time. The palms of both hands have alchemy circles tattoo'd by magical means so that he merely has to press his hands together and work with what he has. As far as alchemy goes and he can actually move earth and transform it to create other items. He often uses items around him to create his weaponry and so it's extremely useful for him since he can seem unarmed one moment and then have a gun in his hand the next. His tattoos are unique and DAD made sure that the tattoo artist who gave them to him had their memory modified through magic and cannot replicate them. Many believe he's being modeled to follow in the same footsteps as Quincy Sinclair, the DAD Director.

Aiden is by no means the typical sort of handsome, or a classic handsome. His features are different but there is still something about him that garners the interest of others. It usually just takes them a bit to figure out what it is. His hair is a mess of light and dark browns, his ears stick out just a little so he purposely wears it shaggy to hide them, he gets very sensitive about his ears. His jaw is strong and squarish in shape, his nose a tad on the bigger side, and his eyes are somewhat sunken in. However, looking at him as a whole, he can still be considered attractive. His clothing style usually consists of lots of black and his a leather jacket. He usually wears bicycle gloves (the kind where the tops of the fingers for the gloves are cut off) so that he doesn't accidentally create an alchemy circle if he were to applaud someone.

Zipporah is a typical brown rat, save the for the fact he's actually a little over a foot long than a couple inches short. His fur is course and a dark brown mixed with gray. He's rather chubby for a rat too since he has a major weakness for cheeses like Feta and Limburger, so his breath smells absolutely putrid. He can hear extremely well and is sensitive to ultrasound so any loud noises bother him severely. He's pretty grouchy most of the time, but he depends on his hearing since his eye sight sucks. He loves to swim and Aiden even has a little mini swimming pool for him to play around in back at his home in Birmingham. Being a rat, he has far more intelligent thought processes than most other animals.
